I had a friend once. He told me he believed dogs are next creatures to make an evolutionary step to become equal to people, he based his hypotesis on the fact they have emotions and everything they do is emotional. I don't know about that. But their sadness is genuine.

Once I left my recorder running and left the apratment for work, leaving a dog I was looking after. It turned out the dog was crying for 45 minutes straight. 'Home Alone' is a piece based on that recording.
'Soundwalk the dog' is a recorded a walk with mics attached to a dog-collar.
'Sygneczów Soundwalk' is a recorded walk from a village near Wieliczka, note how different the barking sounds when dogs feel they own a yard.
Other recordings were made at the Shelter for Homeless Animals in Wrocław ( www.schroniskowroclaw.pl ). And that's where all the profit from this album will go to.
